Crikey dick, but when you turn on to what is happening out there in the mad world you need some good news don\u2019t you?<\/p>\n

We got it today after the glum news about how Trump\u2019s Trade War is plunging the global economy into a cesspit.<\/p>\n

The rest of the world is getting grumpier and grumpier and old men with bushy eyebrows and trillionaires for aides are talking about taking over countries to boost security.<\/p>\n

Just steal them, plonk an army onsite and take over.<\/p>\n

Like Vietnam, or Afghanistan.<\/p>\n

What could possibly go wrong.<\/p>\n

The scholars of history out there will know that trade wars precede actual wars, so we really do need some good news.<\/p>\n

And guess what \u2013 the economy is fully recovered.<\/p>\n

Everyone who needs their slashed budgets restored so they can provide those front-line services that were lost in the government\u2019s job cuts that we weren\u2019t going to notice can get all the money they need from the money tree.<\/p>\n

Well, I assume that\u2019s so because we\u2019re off to the arms and weapons warehouse to spend $12 billion on war stuff.<\/p>\n

Surely, we wouldn\u2019t do \u2018nice-to-have\u2019 stuff like bigger guns and longer cannons unless we had got the basics right first?<\/p>\n

Are we that stupid?<\/p>\n
