Thanks for all those who are supporting the campaign for better government we’re running here in our town.
It’s bloody great to get the kind of support we are seeing out there with well over half the people who go past responding positively to our ‘Toot For Support’ placards.
Barely a day goes by without a new agency calling on the government to show common sense and good business diligence and hold off borrowing at least $15 billion on the taxpayer plastic to fund a budget that contains $14.9 billions in handouts to the already wealthy.
A special thanks to those National Party voters who have come up to us at the demos and in the streets and shops who have told us they support us and thanked us for making this stand.
We realize it’s hard to break ranks with the ‘tribe’ and it gives us a lot of comfort to know that even within National there is major concerns about how bad this policy is for the country.
